Game Predictions: Packers vs. 49ers Divisional Round from AllGBP.COM (with Podcast)

GAME PREDICTIONS
Divisional Round: Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers
Name Record To-Date This Week’s Pick Score Prediction
Kris Burke 12-5 San Francisco 49ers 28-35
I waffled more than Brett Favre over retirement on this one. Make me the one trying for some reverse psychology this week, but the game could go either way. I think Rodgers plays outstanding but the defense learns quickly Kaepernick is no Joe Webb. 49ers won the game on a TD as time expires.
“Jersey” Al Bracco 11-6 Green Bay Packers 20-17
While all the talk about the 49ers defense is the front seven, it’s the secondary that beat the Packers the first time around. YAC were non-existent for the Packers wide receivers that day. With the Packers defense much improved since week one, I consider this a dead-even game. Can’t pick against the Packers now. Go Pack!
Adam Czech 13-4 Green Bay Packers 28-24
I’ve switched my pick at least 37 times this week. I’ve finally decided that I can’t pick against Aaron Rodgers when the other QB is Colin Kapernick. The first-year starter is dangerous, but he’s no Rodgers. Look for Rodgers to have one of those MVP-type of games, making plays through the air and running for first downs. If he doesn’t have one of those types of games, well, let’s not talk about that…

Packers vs. Vikings Wild Card Round Game Predictions from AllGBP.COM (with Podcast)

GAME PREDICTIONS
Wild Card Round: Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings
Name Record To-Date This Week’s Pick Score Prediction
Kris Burke 11-5 Green Bay Packers 21-13
Adrian Peterson runs for over 100 but under 200. Ponder makes the mistakes he didn’t last week and the Vikings struggle outdoors. Tramon Williams redeems himself and the Packers go on to San Francisco.
“Jersey” Al Bracco 10-6 Green Bay Packers 27-17
The Vikings had almost everything go right for them last week and played about as well as they can (and still almost lost). If these two teams played five times, the Packers would win four. So the Vikes got their one last week. The Packers show who the big dog is with a solid win at Lambeau.
Adam Czech 12-4 Green Bay Packers 31-20
I’m going to the game. I paid lots of money for my tickets. I live in Minnesota. If the Packers lose, all of my friends, family and colleagues that just realized Minnesota had a professional football team will drive me insane. If I go insane,  I likely will do something that results in me going to prison. I’ll probably get thrown into a Minnesota prison, where my fellow inmates will likely continue making fun of me. This can’t happen. The Packers will win.
Marques Eversoll 12-4 Green Bay Packers 31-17

Packers vs. Vikings Week 17 Game Predictions from AllGBP.COM (with Podcast)

GAME PREDICTIONS
Week 17: Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings
Name Record To-Date This Week’s Pick Score Prediction
Kris Burke 11-4 Green Bay Packers 31-28
In an appropriate ending to a bizarre season, Mason Crosby wins it in overtime on a 45 yard field goal. The Packers don’t want Adrian Peterson in the playoffs so this will be a hard fought game bbetter better team prevails in the end.
“Jersey” Al Bracco 10-5 Green Bay Packers 24-16
Even with Randall Cobb probably missing, the Packers have enough offense to beat the Vikings. With Clay Matthews back on the field, I don’t see Adrian Peterson having another 200 yard performance against the Packers. He’ll get his yards, but the Packers will hold the Vikings to field goals.
Adam Czech 12-3 Green Bay Packers 27-16
It’s simple: If the Packers prevent the Vikings front four from bombarding Aaron Rodgers, the Packers should win fairly easily. If they don’t, who knows what might happen. I know the Metrodome is a quirky place and strange things happen there, but my money is on the Packers hanging tough up front and using their (mostly) healthy receivers to run wild on the Dome turf.
Marques Eversoll 12-3 Green Bay Packers 28-17
